Better late than never on this one. We were all in Chatty for NYE and instead of bouldering outside (it was too cold 😂) we went to a gym haha

I’d been to High Point once before and left somewhat unimpressed. This time was no exception. There were a few problems that I liked, but over all it felt.. incomplete.

The setters have access to a beautiful facility and a huge selection of holds, but the setting itself wasn’t great. Some started weird and finished well, others the opposite. Typically it was one or two moves somewhere in the middle that made no sense and threw off the whole problem.

Ultimately I walked away a little disappointed? I was pretty sure I knew what I was getting into, but I was hoping I misremembered 😬
